Hey I will be studying at the main TUM campus come October. Any recommendations/advice on getting accomodation over there?

hey there,
accomodation in munich is notoriously hard to find. i saw that you have asked this question before and kityeng suggested some links. did you look them up?
once again: if you're looking for people to share an apartment with, try looking here: www.wg-gesucht or www.studenten-wg.de - if you're looking for university accomodations: www.studentenwerk-muenchen.de. here's a link for a private residence i found - www.studentenwohnheime-muc.de.
hope that helps. if not i suggest you come over, stay a week or two in a hostel, then look for a place, cos it's always easier when you're here. most landlords or people looking for flatmates want to meet you anyway rather than just discuss over the phone or email.
