Singapore Aerospace Technologies are looking for candidates to fill the following positions:
MANAGEMENT TRAINEE
We have the various employment opportunities for our operations in Europe. Interested applicants must be prepared to be stationed in Europe for a period of at least 3 to 4 years before moving to other regions:
1) Mechanical / Electrical Engineers
Job:
• Be involved in operational support activities
• Work closely as a team to help and develop repair/overhaul schemes
• Assist in managing and implementing projects involving fabrication and assemblies
• Perform trouble shooting and diagnosis on aircraft systems
• Assist in developing test equipment, fixtures and programmes to verify functionality of the products
• Provide technical support in terms of engineering and reliability studies
• Complement as technical counterpoint to Marketing, Product and Business Development in their exploring into new businesses and contracts
Requirements:
• Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical/ Electronics Engineering
• Knowledge of aircraft structures and mechanical/ electrical systems
• Some working experience in Europe preferably in the aircraft component repair and overhaul or related industries will be an added advantage
• Leadership qualities, good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interface with operational staff and customers in a team environment
2) HR Executives
Job:
• Handle recruitment, compensation & benefits, welfare administration including social security, performance management and etc
• Administer and update a good workforce database timely and accurately
• Maintain a good personnel documentation and ensure its confidentiality
• Coordinate development and training needs and help develop and establish policies and programmes to manage such needs and activities
• Assist in dealing with trade unions and industrial relations and help ensure a harmonious management-union relationship
• Assist in implementing and developing good HR practices and policies and desired working culture and ensure that they are aligned with Company’s objectives
Requirements:
• Degree in HRM/ Business Admin or equivalent
• Preferably with a few years of HR working experience
• Some experience or knowledge of HR practices in Europe will be an added advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skill
• Meticulous, well organized and cheerful personality and able to work independently
3) Accountants
Job:
• Assist in all accounting functions including maintaining a full set of books
• Assist in preparing management reports to Corp Office
• Maintain and ensure compliance to accounting policies, guidelines and internal control systems as laid down by Corp Office
• Assist in payroll function and maintaining payroll reports
• Assist in liaising with banks, auditors and relevant statutory/ regulatory authorities
Requirements:
• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent, preferably CPA
• Experience or knowledge of SAP and FRANGO software will be an added advantage
• Willing to take on various functions, including consolidation, treasury and etc
• Able to work independently and be self-motivated
• Accounting experience in Europe will be an added advantage
