About Us
About the SSAG
The Singapore Students' Association of Germany (SSAG) is a support organisation run by students in Germany.
Our fundamental aim is to promote the Singapore culture and interaction among Singaporean students in Germany. Being distributed all over Germany, the Singaporeans often have to travel long distances to meet up with those residing in other cities. Therefore, through online forums and activities such as the AGM and the Kennenlernwochenende, we help Singaporeans to keep close in touch.
As there is an increasing number of Singaporeans interested in studying in Germany, SSAG has taken on an active role in helping newcomers to orientate themselves.
We also serve as a communication channel that links our members and other organisations such as Contact Singapore (CS), the Singapore Economic Developmemt Board (EDB), the United Kingdom Singaporean Students Council (UKSSC) and the German-Asian Friendship Association (Gafa).
The highlights in the past years include the club’s Annual General Meeting at Traben-Trarbach, an idyllic town in the Mosel Valley, and a career talk by ContactSG. Through our activities, we aim to connect our members to the community and beyond.
We would love to reach out to any Singapore students in Germany, be it from a Uni, FH, or private school, or simply, anyone who may be interested. Do get in touch with us at exco@ssag.de. Have fun surfing our website!

Our Sponsors
Being a non-profit organization, SSAG does not collect membership fees from members. In other words, as long as you are Singaporean or have stayed or studied in Singapore for some time, you are welcome to join us at no costs. The Exco also serves on a voluntary basis. As such, we welcome any form of support from you, for example through sponsorship of our activities. We are also open to the idea of our advertising your activities (such as events relevant to students) in exchange for a token sum of appreciation.
